They have collected many (or most, or all?) of the registers of Swedish churches in the midwest (as well as others from elsewhere). They will research your request for a VERY reasonable amount, including translation where necessary. You can find their webpages at: http://www.augustana.edu/administration/swenson/ Their on-line lists do not appear to include churches (well, maybe a few), but I have been fortunate enough to have them find some material on my ancestors that was available nowhere else. These were from church records, and they are NOT listed on the website. I would recommend that you contact them to see if they have the required information.
