Alyce Kinton was born in or near Galesburg and in 1950 married Orval Baker. It listed Mr and Mrs Lyle Nelso as her parents and they lived at 347 E. Main Street. When Orval and Alyce BAKER returned from their honeymoon they resided at 781 Day Street in Galesburg. IF anyone has information about this family I would sure appreciate you contacting me. Dena

Lyle M. & Jeanne S. NELSON h(ouseholder)347 E. Main St. in the 1949 Galesburg City Directory. He was employed as "a fireman U of I". The building is listed as "347-51 ODD FELLOWS BUILDING". There is a little bell(wedding?) in front of Lyle's name.(Someone clarify?) There are several businesses and people living at the address. ***************** Orval BAKER, in 1949, was living, r(esides or rooms) @ 781 Day St. He was "a helper @ CB&QRR". Also living there was ;"Chas (Amanda L) lab CB&QRR" and listed as h(ouseholder); And "Chas. A. emp Butler Mfg. r 718 Day". **************** I find no KINTON's. **************** If you have an idea of High School yr. I do have several G-burg Reflectors and could so a search there. They also may be living and well<G>. I do find a Charles A. and C.A. JR. living in G-burg in 1997. Will send those privately if you wish the addresses.
