I am looking for the mother and father of my great, great grandfather. I don't know their given names - only the surname, "Perry". One of their children was Benjamin W. Perry, who was born December 1, 1828, reportedly near Galesburg, IL. I am hoping you will look in the 1840 census for Knox County for a Perry with an 11 or 12 year old child named Benjamin W. Perry.
