If so, his wife died 29 January 1916 in Galesburg, Knox, IL and left a will which was probated on 10 March 1916. In her will she names her husband Matthew O'Brien and the following children: L.F. (son), Matt Jr. (son), John (son), Frank M. (son), Emma (daughter), Rose (daughter), Mrs. Nora Lee (daughter), Mrs. Mary Shuck(?) (daughter), and Eugene F. (son). She names John O'Brien as Executor of the will. I am also interested in the O'Briens of Knox County. David O'Brien was b. in May, 1857 in (allegedly) Waterford, IRE, and died 30 May 1928 in Woodhull, Henry Co., IL. His father was Patrick O'Brien about whom I have no further information. David O'Brien married Julia Anna Falloon, who was b. in April 1862 in Onieda, Knox Co., IL and d. 12 Oct 1904. Julia's parents were Daniel Falloon and Anne Connor. David and Julia (Falloon) O'Brien had the following children (all probably born in Knox Co.): Helen Louise (1880-1933), James Henry (1883-1950), Terrance Paul (1884-1956), Thomas Francis (1887-1926), Annastasia (1889 - ?), George (1892-1894), Marguerite Julia (1894-1905), Mary/Mayme (1895-1976), Edward Percy (1899-1967), and an unknown female (born after 15 Jan 1880 and died before 1900). If anyone has further information on this family, particularly on David O'Brien's ancestors or where he came from, please contact me.
