I am Bruce Shepherd's sister Brenda. I happened to notice he posted a message and you responded. We have your Bigger Scott in our tree. I can't think there are too many people named "bigger" so it must be the same man. This is what I know: I have Bigger Scott (no dates) married to Leah Harshbarger(not dates). They have a daughter Lizzie Scott (no dates, and probably your great great grandma was it). Leah Harshbarger died in Greeenfield, Indiana. Leah's parents were Jacob Harshbarger and Elizabeth Beckner. Leah is a brother to my g-g-g-g-grandfather John Harshbarger. Leah was also married to a man named Staud Myers and had two children: John Will Myers and Julia Myers. I have a lot of info on the Harshbargers. They were from Switzerland. I imagine your Bigger Scott is also related to my g-g-grandma Matilda Scott McKenna through the Scott's too.
