Thank you Tom for that info. Can you tell me how old Anna Swanson was in 1900? I doubt that it is the same person, but one never knows for sure. The name Svenson was the Swedish spelling, I'm sure. My grandfather's first name was Swen, so I kind of think it would have been Swenson. Other records, however, have him recorded as Swan. LOL. Whatever. Thanks, Judy

SWANSON, S. W. The son of Peter and Betsey Swanson, he was born in Christian- stad, Sweden, June 14, 1833. He removed to Knox Conty in 1852.
