I have not been able to find the location of the bounty land. Francis Deal died before the 1860 census was taken. The family is listed as having real estate worth $1,000 at that time. When the estate was settled, they only had a home in Knoxville. The Hugh M. Lindsey family lived at Marshall in Taylor County, Iowa, from the 1870 census until the death of Hugh Lindsey in 1898 and Elizabeth in 1920.
