Fran: If Mary left in 1912, and Olof stayed in Galesburg and later ended up in the Alms House, this would explain why he doesn't appear there in the 1900 Census. The name also does not appear on the list of burials there, which extend beyond the 1900 date. Sorry not to be of more help, Tom Lundeen
