The Etherly Cemetery (sometimes called "Smith Cemetery") is located in the southeast 1/4 of Section 30 of Victoria Township. It is 2 1/2 miles south of the Methodist Church in Victoria, then east (left) on the first road east about 3/4 mile. It is in very bad condition. Bob, I appreciate the info, but where is Victoria? Is it an outright town? I grew up a few hours from there and my mother who lived in Galesburg never heard of Victoria. Thanks! Victoria is a town northeast of Galesburg. Take a look at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilknox/home/maps.htm on the Knox County USGenWeb site for a variety of historical and current maps that will show Victoria. You might also want to take a general look around the website http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilknox/. It contains a lot of genealogical and historical information about Knox County.
