Mary: Hermon is a kind of wide spot in the road about five or six miles north west of London Mills, IL. and east of Abingdon. The last I knew there were only a few houses there, no businesses. that I can recall. But there are two cemeteries, one on each side of the road just north of where Hermon in the 1950s (at least) did have a store.
