What documentation do you have that Thomas Forshey Sr. was married to a Catherine Elizabeth. Sutherland Cemetery has a headstone for Elizabeth-Wife of Thomas that died in 1832 at 75. Thomas and Catherine kept selling land until 1834(Gateway to the West and Volume C of Monroe Deeds.)(Thomas Forshey and Catherine to Benj. McVay Jr.) It seems more likely that Thomas Sr. was married to Elizabeth and Thomas Jr. was married to a Catherine. Other documentation shows that Thomas Sr. was in Muskingum County in 1832 filing for a Rev. War pension. He was probably living with his daughter Mary Reynolds. I know he came back later but his pension papers mentioned children but no wife. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
