The reference to the number of children living was based on the US Census questions (mother of how many children/ How many living?). The daughters names I know are: Mary J.; Almeda A.; Sarah M.; Harriet Emma; Jerusha and Alvira A. I found names in the various census years, but I don't know which of the above are the ones still living in 1900. I am more interested in discovering more about his parents than his daughters.     3. William D. Brown and his wife, Julia Ann {Newkirk} Brown, are buried in the Abingdon Cemetery. They were married Jan 1, 1845 in Knox Co., IL. William D. Brown born: Dec. 21, 1820 - in Ohio died: Sept. 18, 1895 - in Abingdon Julia Ann {Newkirk} Brown born: Sept. 1, 1820 - in Ohio died: July 10, 1904 - in Abingdon, Il. In the family plot in the Abingdon Cemetery, is a female child buried, Alzora E. Brown born: June 24, 1862 - in Abingdon, Il. died: July 5, 1862 - in Abingdon, IL.
