Does anyone have a list of Old Newspapers pre 1900 that are on interlibrary loan? The Galesbury Public library sent requested obit along with a Victoria Twp notice that in the Republican-Register " The old lady Smith mother of Mrs. John Hefferman is very low at her dau, Mrs Sloan. Not much hopes of her recovery, so Mrs. Hefferman informs us." The library didn't note the date of the paper, but said it was near her death date I had given them. Mary Smith "old lady Smith" died either March 7, or 17 1892. She is buried in Etherly/Smith Cem. in Victoria. Does any know what towns the Republican-Register served? Mary Smith lived in Victoria, but died at home of dau in Williamsfield. I'm in hopes that there might be an obit noted in news of either one of both of these towns......Thanks for any help or suggestion.....Grace
