Hi Ruth, I think you are referring to the 1861 Atlas of Knox County that has been duplicated and published by the Knox County Genealogical Society (see their publications list at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilknox/home/kcgs_publications.htm). It is a great paper resource, as are all of their publications. My goal is to get some (not all) of this information online for all to see and search electronically.
