I have just discovered that my husband's ggg aunt was born in Galesburg. Mary Ann Froman was born 3/18/1844 to Greenberry Froman and Rachel Gormley. They also had 4 sons - John R., James, William & Charles F. By 1860 they were in Kansas. In 1865, Greenberry returned to IL to marry Ellen Roup/Short in Mercer County. They had a daughter, Evalina, in 1866. By 1870, Greenberry was back in Kansas, living with John R. and his family. Greenberry died in 1872.
