I did finally get a copy of the marriage certificate. Still would like to know what happened to her. Olof Bengston went back to Sweden sometime in the 1870's and died there in 1874. Annie was living with her son (my Great-Grandfather) in Knox County on the 1880 census. It's really to bad that the 1890 Census was destroyed.
Have you checked to see if Annie remarried? There is a statewide marriage index online. You can go to Google and put in Illinois Marriages. Good Luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <ILKNOX-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 14, 2007 10:16 AM Subject: Re: [ILKNOX] Annie Bangston (Bangtson) > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Swanson,Bengston, Peterson, Skog > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.illinois.counties.knox/3802.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Thank you so much for your help in this matter.Iappreciate it very much.
