If I get anything I'll post it and you should see it. Ms. Murphy was the niece of my g-grandmother, whose birth, life and death are are somewhat documented, but more of a mystery. Here is what I got: March 25, 2002 Mrs. Mary E. Ferris Mrs. Mary E. Ferris, 79, of 255 W. Tompkins St. Galesburg, IL, died at 6:27 AM Monday March 25, 2002 at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg, IL. She was born on October 2, 1922 in Aurora IL to Daniel E. and Mary (Graff) Coleman. She married Henry Stewart Ferris in Hot Springs AR on February 8, 1954. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1975. She is survived by a son, Drew (and Barbara) Ferris of Galesburg, IL, three daughters, Joann Ferris of Marion, IL, Mary S. Ferris of Galesburg, IL and Karen Ruth Nichols of CA, a brother, Daniel (and Lucille) Cole of Galesburg, IL, two sisters, Ruth Coleman of Brookfield, WI and Edna Paap of AR and six grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death. She worked at the Galesburg State Research Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1983. Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Thursday March 28, 2002 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. So this would be the family. Any ideas on how to contact any of these kids mentioned in the obit?
