    1. RE: [ILKNOX-L] Famulener Family Knox County Illinois
    2. Jim&Joyce Hagerty
    3. Thanks to all of you for all your help. I have sent what I have found to my friend. I am off to the library today to see if I can find out anything from obits. The Famulener art collection at Knox College was donated by a grandson of William, so I am wondering if he donated the scholarship, too. I really appreciate all the suggestions that you have sent me. Ruby was a married to a descendant of a brother (I suspect) of William. There were two Famulener brothers who settled in Knox County, William and Jacob. There is a file on World Connect that has a lot of Famulener information in it, but not much on William. Again, I really appreciate all you have done, and I know that my friend appreciates all the leads, too. Shows 5 of them. Write them a form letter asking for help. With only 5 showing up and it being such a wierd last name my guess is that you will get a hit. I find Wm Famulener, 85 years old is still living, found in Cedar Township, Knox Co, IL 1910. I find the family in Knox Co from at least 1870-1930. I assume this must be the namesake of the foundation. 3 Famulner's in 1910 next door that look to be his sons. > >1930 census indicates Ruby was the wife of Kenneth M. Famulener. Illinois marriages and death index indicate this family was in Knox & Warren Co for some time. Depending on what year the foundation started, she could be the initial starter of the foundation, given she was a single woman on her death . >Patti > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jim&Joyce Hagerty > To: [email protected] > Sent: Thursday, July 22, 2004 3:51 PM > Subject: [ILKNOX-L] Famulener Family Knox County Illinois > > > I am looking for the descendants of William Famulener.
