Lucy Lucille Hammond was married to James Elliott. She passed away on June 02, 1961, according to the DAR data that I have found. Lucy was a sister to my grandmother, Julia Theodora Hammond Addis. They were children of Theodore Hammond Jr. from the Center Prairie area of Knox County. Theodore, his wife, and his daughter are buried in Victoria cemetary and Theodore Sr. and his wife are buried in the Galesburg Cemetary. I have found some Elliott's in the Center Prairie cemetary also, but not Lucy or James. I am interested in learning of any living children of Lucy and James if anyone might accidently know of them. It has been suggested that Lucy or one of her children could have written a book regarding the Hammonds in Knox County. Other family members included: Clarence H.
