    3. Donna, are you on the MyFamily.com Peckinpaugh website? It's for family who have connections to the Peckinpaugh name. My 5th Great Grandparents were Anna Barbara Peckenpaugh and George Michael BRUNER. I descend through their son, Adam BRUNER, Sr. and Elizabeth RICE. Always looking for new cousins to help all of us get back past Elizabeth's parents who were Nicholas RICE and Mary Ann Marilda Elizabeth HICKMAN married 06 June 1785. Thanks, Jan Lund [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "donna smith" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 11, 2004 8:39 AM Subject: Re: [ILKNOX-L] Re: Peckenpaugh > I have the book, PECKINPAUGHS, PICKENPAUGS, BECKENBAUGHS, PECKINPAHS, AND > PECKENPAUGHS. 3. I am not a Peckenpaugh descendant but am interested in individuals who lived in Knox and Schuyler Counties in Illinois. The Peckenpaugh families lived in both counties. I ran across the book at a flea market and couldn't resist buying it. I notice you are a Bruner descendant. There was a Bruner family in early Schuyler county. Could your ancestors have also been in Schuyler County as well as Knox? 3. It's always a possibility but I think my main line was only in Knox County. I am also related to the McMURTRY, CHAMPION, CANNON and RICE lines in Knox County. There were quite a few marriages between Peckinpaugh and RICE, if I remember correctly. If there is anything about a Nicholas RICE or his wife, Mary Ann Marilda Elizabety HICKMAN in the book, I'd sure be interested. Or if any of those other names are in there. Anna Barbara PECKENPAUGH's parents were Johann Adam BECKENBAUGH / PECKENPAUGH (died 7 March 1746/47and his wife, Anna Maria Schmitt who died between 1777-1778. Is there anything in the book about them? I wish I lived in the midwest where I might get my hands on some of these treasure books. But if I checked out here, might find some good ones because a lot of midwesters came to California! Thanks for writing!
