I am searching for Sr. Mary Bernette , who was at St. Mary's 'old' hosp. in 1953. Was a temporary assignment in the Pediatrics Dept. Her home area was Dickinson Co./Iron Mountain, Michigan. She was finishing a nursing program to become a Reg. Nurse in the early 50's when I met her in Galesburg. Info found recently is that she may have left the convent in the 60's. She was of the Franciscian order which had hospitals in Galesburg,IL., Escanaba and Marquette MI. and Marinette, Wi. and Peoria, I believe. I have spoken with a family member of her now deceased professional skating partner in Iron Mountain, MI. Gleaning this tidbit... Her birth first name *might* have been Barbara. She could be 75 to 80 yrs. of age today. To anyone who might have known her, or knows of her now, I would kindly appreciate hearing from you. ginny
