Miles, b. about 1795. Ezra Miles was married to a Susan Parsell in Peoria Co., IL and was residing in Abington, Knox Co., IL in the 1860 census. In the 1870 federal census, he is located in Washington, Tazewell Co., IL and is a wagon maker. A history of Washington, IL makes reference to two sisters, i.e., Louisa who married Rev. John Borland and Edith who married Henry Meadows. Apparently, Henry died and Edith remarried, i.e., William Holland. For what it is worth, a Joseph Buckminster Miles was also residing in Washington -- died at that location in 1860. I think Joseph and Solomon S. Miles may have been brothers.
