OH). His parents were John and Nancy Ford Stanton who moved to Knox county somewhere in the mid 1850's. They later moved to Wayne Co. IA in the mid 1870's. Jack stated behind and mar. Sarah Jane Johnson 18 Feb 1879 in Fulton Co. IL. In the 1880 census Jack & Sarah were living in Salem, Knox Co. IL and had a infant son Leroy Stanton. I would like to find out when they died and where they are buried and what happened to Leroy. Thanks for any help, Sandra
The only STANTONs buried in Salem Twp., Knox Co., IL are Michael STANTON d. March 29, 1858 aged 44y 9m and Eva H. STANTON dau. of M. & E. died January 29, 1864 aged 6m 29d.
