Clark Haynes was the son of Asa Haynes and Mary Jane Elizabeth GADDIS. In 1870 Clark/Emily were in Ray Co. MO. Clark Haynes died 22 Aug 1891 in Artesia, Los Angeles Co., CA. I don't know what happened to Emily. On your connection with Todd Co. MN-- Clark Haynes had a sister Margaret b. 1832. Margaret had a mother-in-law Elizabeth "Betsey" PLUMB who married (1) John SWEETSER and (2) Uzzi NICKERSON. Elizabeth and Uzzi Nickerson had a son Levi b. 1836. Levi married in 1857 to Mary Elizabeth HOUSH. Levi and family also moved to Todd Co. MN. I guess what they say to look at the neighbors is always helpful. I thought that the Nickersons went by themselves but it looks like that maybe several families from Knox Co. went to that county also. Kathie from CA
