If you let them know ahead of time that you will be there and what families you are researching, I found they are prepared and even provided me with some information via email prior to my trip (obits, etc.). I wrote to the genealogy society prior to my trip to let them know I was coming and included my email address. They were very helpful and the library is full of information. They also have lots of info on some surrounding counties, such as Warren Co.
