Dear Patti, Hi. Thank You So Much. According to family legend, my Great Uncles children, (my Grandfather's brother) they say that My Great Grandfather James Buchanan Welliver died while visiting my Great Uncle and family up in Estlin, Canada where they were living. I did not know if he was buried in Estlin, Canada or if his remains were returned to be buried in the family plot in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Now I know and that one of the headstones that is missing (or perhaps he never had one) could be him or researching cemetery records will answer more of my questions. I appreciate your help so much. Foxy Haggerty has done so much to help me in the past and she is the one who had volunteered for Headstone Hunters and she found my Welliver family in Mt. Vernon Cemetery and she took the time with her daughter Kate and at her own expense to go and take photographs for me.
