I am very curious about whom this Ellen is below - (have a missing gr-grandmother Ellen abt this time frame- but no nothing about an Ida Chase in Knoxville. Its a long shot - but you never know. Mrs Ellen died at the home of her daughter Ida Chase in Knoxville Il - Jan 30, 1901. (from the Carbondale, KS. newspaper of 2-9-1901) Also the 1st wife of Morris Chase Elizabeth (Eliza) below. I do not have her obit. Eliza (Driggs) Chase - wife of Morris Chase - Death date - October 1851 - lived 3 miles east of Knoxville, IL. And last - I do not have an obit for this woman - whom was married 3 times - last time to James Woodmansee. Rebecca (Strain) Clark- Chase - Woodmansee - Death date -1898 - Knoxville, IL.
