It has taken me a while to 'recover' and catch up from hosting my Grandma Faye (Rice) Allen's 97th birthday party:) It was awesome and we had 62 people here! Everyone gave her a rose (which is our custom for her birthday, as she always grew roses) and she had more than 62 of them. When one of her daughters asked her if she really wanted to take ALL the roses back to assisted living, she said "What do you think?" LOL She always puts them outside her door in the hallway so everyone can enjoy them.
