Oh yes, Osborn and Roundtree families arrived prior to 1830, so you might find it worth while to check Fulton County Clerk's Office , Fulton County Courthouse, Lewistown, IL. Sorry I don't have the zip code or phone number for that one. Knox County didn't organize until July 1830, so the early settlers of Knox were part of Fulton Co. for legal purposes. I am trying to find out who Albert's real parents were & suspect that he was born to a sister of Mary J. King in Canton, Fulton County, Illinois on October 14, 1872. Albert did not know who his parents were but thought that his mother died of Malaria fever three weeks after giving birth to him. He also thought that her name may have been Alice and that his father may have been a George Miller. Albert was also told that his father died when he was very young. I have been unable to find any information on these people and request any information that anyone may like to pass along... Carolyn millercw@winco.net
