    1. Re: [ILKNOX-L] NANCY BEDELL'S Death
    2. I came across the information somewhere that there were Bedells in Knox County or that area. I cannot provide any help with Nancy Bedell but wonder if she or her kin were any relation to my Bedells (also spelled Beadle, Bedle and Bedel among many other variations!). My Phoebe Beadle married a Fletcher in PA, then a Hall in Ohio and her Fletcher descendants ended up in Yates City. I believe one of her siblings was Francis Bedle. Phoebe was born in Sussex County, NJ in 1770 and apparently her family was among several families that migrated together from state to state through several generations, always heading ever westward! Susan

    3. Posted on: Knox Co. Il Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Knox/847 Surname: Bothwell, Case ------------------------- I am looking for Catharine Bothwell, d/o Alexander Bothwell, II, who married Nelson Case in Knox Co. on July 7, 1843. They had a child, John Wesley Case, in Knox Co. on April 12, 1844. I believe that Catharine must have died Joshortly after the birth, because Nelson remarried two years later. Catharine's mother and father are both buried in Salem Cemetery in Knox Co. according to the Bothwell book. How would I go about determining whether or not Catharine actually passed away and where she might be buried? Any help you can give will certainly be appreciated. Alice Case dacase@wavecom.net

    2. I am responding to the name Hull in Knox County. The following brothers may or may not be related to your posting. The wife of one reportedly died in Knox County. Daniel W Hull, m, Rachel Byram, b Mar 10, 1817, Highland Co, OH, d Feb 21, 1897, Abingdon, Knox Co, IL. Joseph Hull "of Greenfield", Highland Co, OH, m Nov 20 1836, Tabitha Byram, b Mar 26, 1815, Highland Co, OH. The births of the two sisters are probably Highland Co, OH. One of their brothers was apparently in Fayette Co, OH, just a few miles north so I make no guarantees. --Jack Trauth
