    3. We have recently finished making the following additions to the Knox County USGenWeb site. - Histories from the 1871 Atlas Map of Knox County for the county and ALL townships. - Histories from the 1878 History of Knox County for all the townships (but not the county). When you do a search of the site for surnames or any other keywords, these histories are also searched for any matches. We would still like to add the Knox County history to the site from the 1878 History of Knox County, pages 100-127. If anyone with a copy of the 1878 History of Knox County would like to help with this project by transcribing a few pages, we would really appreciate it. Even one page would be a tremendous help. You can type the transcription into an email, or Notepad, or Wordpad, or Microsoft Word, or just about any other word processor you are comfortable working with. Contact me beforehand if you want to help. I need to confirm that the pages you want to transcribe are not already being done by someone else. Thanks for any help that is out there. 3. Thanks for looking. I knew that Reuben was Levi and Joseph Jr's brother from an entry in the archives about Joseph Sr's will that listed all of the childern. A cousin gave me some of her info about Thomas and Rebecca being in Knox Co, but I can't find them in the census index. Thomas supossedly helped to build a church and served in the Civil War in a Ill unit. I found Reuben and Levi's family in the census, but not Joseph. I sometimes think my ancestors just fell off the face of the earth on census day. 3. Thanks, that would be great. I think I am decended from Peter Gunnerson. I am in the process of confirming the conection between Joseph Rambo and Peter Gunnerson Rambo. The famil tree that I down loaded from Ancestory says that Joseph b. abt 1750, VA is the son of Jacob b. abt 1727, PA and Deborah. Jacob is the son of Swan (Sven)b. 1677, Philly, PA and Barbara. Swan is the son of Peter b. 1653 New Sweden and Magdalena. Peter is the son of Peter Gunnarson and Bretta Mattzdotter Rambo. This is the part I am trying to confirm. I am fairly confident of the line upto Joseph, although I don't have all the dates and places yet. If you can help fill in the gaps, or point me in the right direction, that would be great. 3. Eliza Barrows Reid Posted on: Knox Co. Il Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Knox/890 Surname: Barrows, Fisk, Reid, Wikoff, Green, Clark, Coe ------------------------- WILLIAM F. BARROWS, enumerated in 1850 Knox County, Illinois with "Ezekiel Wikoff" #1496; next door #1497 is a "Garrett Wikoff".  This Wm. F. Barrows next appears in Oregon, 1870. He was alone in the 1850 but had married Eliza Jane Stafford in Madison Co IL 1847. They had three children, Rebecca Ann, Mary Eliza and William Walter. Mary Eliza was born in Knox county in 1850. Her mother died 8 February 1852. The children were split-up, William & Mary J. go to a family named GREEN (no record found). Rebecca Ann goes to a family named Coe. The only document found for Mary Eliza Barrows is her 1864 Yolo Co. CA certificate of marriage to Alex. H. Reid. The guardian for Mary E. Barrows is James M. Clark. A cousin who has researched this family line believes the GREEN'S, Clark's & Coe's are some how related to the above.
