    3. DANIEL FARRELL emigrated into NYC 1848. Married 1849 and shows up in the NYC census 1850. Then to NJ where they had 2 kids. Then to Chicago leaving there and getting to G-burg 1858. Says his sisterL and nephew. I believe him to be the brother of my James Egan who was the county clerk in Knoxville for some time around 1875. Both of my Egans are born in Canada but their wives both came from NY. Hoping to find out where they lived in NY and thought maybe you would know where the Farrell's may have lived in NY. 3. My great grand mother was BRIDGET MURPHY FARRELL. She died in Galesburg, Knox County in 1879. She was married to DANIEL FARRELL of the store FARRELL and MEARS, Men's Clothing somewhat a fixture in G-burg through the 1930's. I have found nothing to very little about the MURPHY family She had a brother in Galesburg named HENRY MURPHY. He was married to MARY DUNN in G-burg 1863. He died in 1893 in G-burg. He had many children. I am hoping that if I can find a descendant of one of these kids perhaps they will have info that will shed light on the origins of this MURPHY family. I have some info on the children of HENRY/MARY and most of it leads to dead ends. There is one however that may shed some light. ANNA MURPHY, (the daughter of HENRY/MARY) married a HARRY D FERRIS, in Jan 1906. HARRY and ANNA FERRIS had a son, HENRY born 1910 in G-burg and died in 1975 in G-burg. My notes indicate he had a son born 1954, but I have no name. Does anybody recognise this name, FERRIS and maybe HARRY. and hence his kids? (Please, no "big wheel" jokes.) Any help appreciated. He emigrated from England in 1880. He lived in Illinois between 1880 to 1900. I'm not sure exactly where he lived, but he was married and had a daughter named Mary WAINWRIGHT in 1895 or 1896 born in Illinois. I am also searching for information (birth, etc...) on Mary WAINWRIGHT. Then his wife died. His wife may have emigrated with him, but I don't have her name or any info about her except she was possibly born in England. After this he moved to Michigan and married a woman named Medora "Dora" (GREEN) MERRITT on March 27, 1900. They eventually moved to Grand Traverse County, Michigan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS. Donna
