And they came from PA. Amos & Leah Tanner had a daughter Mary, who married Harry C. Kessler 1888 in Knox Co. Harry Kessler was baptized in Fulton Co, PA. I notice some of your other posts mention Fulton & Franklin Co, PA. I've just started working on the Tanner's in our line. Email me direct and perhaps we can compare notes. [email protected]
Hi, I read with interest that you are related to Joseph and Sarah Wallace Pease. We are apparently cousins. Sarah's brother, James, was my great great grandfather. What I was really interested in was the Greenwood connection you mentioned. I am working on the Greenwood family descended from William McGreenwood who arrived in Mercer Co. about 1830 for my uncle by marriage who is 99. Are you related to this Greenwood family or the other one? Cheryl Wixon Gocken President, Iroquois Co., IL Gene. Soc. Dennis Adams I noted with interest you request about Pease contacts. For about 40 years Theron Joseph Pease Jr.lived in Fort Collins, CO. He owned and operated Pease Home improvements. He died 20 Aug 1985 in Fort Collins at the age of 61. A massive heart attack on a job. I spoke to his widow this afternoon and learned that Joe was born and raised in Summner, Iowa. She said all the family lived around there. Mrs. M. I. Pease said she hadn't followed the family lately, but could give you some contacts if you are interested.
