My GGGgrandmother died 19 May 1864. Her name is Nancy DIXON/Dickson. Her first huband was George ROBINSON, her second husband was Job COZAD. Can anyone tell if there would be a newspaper that would have reported her death and how I could access it? I live in Texas. Thanks, Teresa

I believe her maiden name to be Crawford. According the 1880 Census she was living in Clayton, Taylor County Iowa. Father from Kentucky, mother from Ohio. She was a teacher & a Widow with 2 children Clara S. age 8 and Royal Alfred age 5. in 1893 she moved to Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana and married Charles E. Pettit He may have been 20 years her senior, have not proven this as of yet. Elizabeth died in Kalispell April 30, 1900. Her son Royal moved to Kalispell as well in about 1899-1900. He died March 14, 1901. In 1897 Royal had married Addie May Disbrow in Boulder, Colorado. I beleive that Elizabeth may be the daughter of Reverend John Crawford of Abington. This is just a hunch as he had a daughter named Elizabeth. Anyone with links to this family I would appreciated it if I could be contacted. [email protected] Thank you Kris Wheeler

Surnames: SNOW, SULLIVAN, TACKETT Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/4g.2ADE/1350.4.2 Message Board Post: Hi Pat, I am researching the family of Kelsa Snow, son of Charles E. and Flora (Sullivan) Snow of Clark Co. IN. Charles was the 8th of 13 known children born to Joseph Ebert and Julia Ann (Tackett) Snow. Charles married Flora Sullivan on 3 Sep 1893 in Scott County, Indiana. They lived in Clark County, Indiana. Joseph Ebert Snow (b. ca 1820 in IN) married Julia Ann Tackett (b. 12 Sep 1830 in KY or OH) on 4 May 1846 in Washington County, Indiana. They lived in Scott County, Indiana. I have seen someone have death dates for Joseph: 8 Dec 1892, and Julia 29 Jan 1894. Joseph's father may be Jonathan Snow b. ca 1799 in NC. Julia's parents are George W. and Sarah A. Tackett. He was born ca 1787 in probably TN. They moved to Lawrence County, Ohio, then to Washington County, Indiana. If you wish more information on this family, feel free to contact me. My GEDCOM is also online.
