    2. Joyce L. Steffel
    3. Looking for more information on the wives of William B. Camp who was born in Athens, Ohio in 1841 and died in 1918. He is buried in Roseville Cemetery, Warren County, IL. He married first Louisa Thompson Howe in Knox County who died in 1890 in Galesburg (my ancestor). He married 2nd Rhoda R. Hall in 1891 in Galesburg (she died in 1904). He married 3rd Sarah Woody in 1907. While no children were born to any of these marriages, I would like to know more about Rhoda Hall and Sarah Woody. Since these were late marriages, perhaps Rhoda and/or Sarah had been married before. Any information appreciated. Joyce Steffel Chicago, IL

    3. Hi Beryl, I would like to get a copy of Rachel's obit from you.. It may be my GGG Grandmother. I received a copy of my GG Grandmother Sarah obit recently, it had her being born to Isreal and Rachel (Hancock) Hoxworth in Bucks county PA in 1830. I think that was a typo, as a 1850 census for Knox county has John and Rachel with a son named Isreal. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4g.2ADE/1042.3 Message Board Post: Hi! I've done alot of research for people in Knox County, IL. Henderson Grove is really hard to understand. Way back in the early 1828's when the first people where coming to Knox County, Henderson (now) was earlier called Henderson Grove. Then there was another little place called Henderson Grove. It's not there anymore the only thing there is a cemetry and it's called something else now and in a different township. There is still a Place called Henderson Grove in Henderson Twp., Knox Co., IL. and they have a cemetery with some Nelson's buried there. I have a copy of the cemetery listings. and also some in another cemetery that is hard to get to in Henderson Twp. But beings as your Grandmother was born in 1871 I would say it would be the Henderson Grove that is still there today and the reason not on the map is there is only a cemetery, then a church on the corner of the road. It's not original church. But it's still there and alot of houses and people are glad to! say they are from Henderson Grove. There is no Post Office. I suppose they either get their mail in Henderson or Galesburg, IL. But if your grandmother married her married name wouldn't be Nelson would it. This Henderson, Hendersonville, Henderson Grove is so confusing sometimes. I tried to explain it to my husband but even he didn't understand it. http.rootsweb.com/~ilknox/histories/henderson.htm click on link above or copy and paste into your browser a good history on Henderson Twp and the Grove. From history books of Knox County, IL.. Hope this helps you some. . Foxie http://www.usgennet.org/usa/il/county/warren/
