Good afternoon all, I have received the death certificate of my 3rd great grandfather Orlando BARR who died in Elgin in December, 1900. The undertaker is listed as R. H. Seidel (could be Leidel but looks more like Seidel). Does anyone know of a Mr. Seidel working as an undertaker in Elgin in 1900? Was he associated with a particular funeral home? Also, it says the following: "Place and date of burial: Elgin City Cemetery Dec. 30, 1900" Was/is there a cemetery in Elgin simply called Elgin City Cemetery? Thank you for any help.
