    3. The Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin has a very large set of the books. I'm don't knowwhat the Aurora or St. Charles libraries have. Maybe another list member will know. 1. Re: [ILKANE] Cemetery Transcriptions & VANDUSEN
    2. Thanks Judy, I'll try St. Charles and Elgin first and see. It looks from the "Surname Guide to Kane County, Illinois Cemeteries" by Dean McMakin, that many of the cemeteries in the county have been transcribed. This is a shot in the dark, but I just came across your surname today for the first time in my research. Any chance that Alvin & Mary (BALL) VANDUSEN are in your family's history? They were married in 1835 in Cattargus Co., NY, and lived in Winfield, DuPage Co. in 1850. Alvin, born 1812 NY, was son of Henry, who was born in Germany. I don't know what happened to Alvin & Mary after 1850. On Sunday, August 31, 2003, at 07:32 PM, Judy Van Dusen wrote: > The Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin has a very large set of the > books.
