Big Woods church and cemetery are still there--surrounded by commercial space and a huge "peaker plant". There is one century old house on the west side and all of that area on the west side of Eola Rd is Kane County Forest Preserve and wetlands. There is a new Rd going west off of Eola that goes past a lot of apartments closer to the very east edge of Aurora. A friend of ours bought the old post office as an investment for the land. Diehl Rd was a lane and now is a 4 lane Rd. The corner of Diehl and Eola Rd is industrial. It has changed so much in the last 10 years that it is hard for me to even remember what it used to be like. The huge bridge over the toll way changed the landscape forever. I drive past it a couple of times a week, and will make a mental note to see if there are any more land marks still standing. I hope they don't demolish that old house--it is brick with the stone lintels over doors and windows, but is in very poor condition. Looks like squatters are living there, Grace
