I'm looking for the family and ancestors of Samuel Chapman, born in 1816 in Glasgow, Scotland. He came to America with his wife, Margaret Spittal, in 1841. They lived first in Wyoming, NY and in 1844 they moved to Plato township, Kane Co., IL . He died in Oct 1886 in Kane Co., IL. He had 9 children and was a prominent landowner. Frank
