It may be that my grandfather worked at Howell Co., from 1923-1933 or there about. I am wondering if anyone knows if any records from the company exist. I have read online that it eventually moved to ST. Charles, IL. Is anyone aware of any photos of the company as well? Thank you so much
yes, the Howell Co. was in STC in the old Cable Piano Factory Building. My mother worked there early 30's. There is a web site with a picture of it: http://www.st-charles.lib.il.us/history/historicbuildings.htm#bib-it would be listed under Cable Piano and Howel Co. The StC Museum also has pictures there of the Howell Co. but I don't think you can get them online. Their site is http://www.stcmuseum.org/ I grew up in STC and lived there from 30's until 1970's and still return there..
