The next monthly meeting of the Kane County Genealogical Society will be held on Thursday, October 23 at 7:15 p.m. in the Carnegie Room of the St. Charles Public Library, located at 1S. 6th Avenue, St. Charles. The guest speaker for the evening will be Kane County Coroner, Mr. Charles West, who will speak on “County Coroner Records”. All are welcome to attend. The mission of the Kane County Genealogical Society (KCGS) is to gather and preserve regional historical records and serve as a county-wide educational resource for those interested in genealogy.
