Probably the reason is the same as applied in Aurora. The Fox river runs through the middle of town and there is an East Aurora High and a West Aurora High both of which I attended back a long time ago. I believe the Fox river aso runs through Batavia.

It is still quite a journey in any of the Fox River towns.... Kristy
