Hello listers, I am searching for PRINDLE, Mary L. born about 1885-87 ......found on 1920 census living with her father William PRINDLE on St Charles Street in Elgin. He is listed as a mechinist at the Elgin watch factory. I never could find any information about his wife and this is first of finding his daughter. Hi Pat, I found a William Prindle on the Illinois Statewide Death Index: PRINDLE WILLIAM JACKSON M/W UNK 6015508 1934-05-31 COOK CHICAGO 34-06-01 There are three Marys (assuming of course that she didn't marry), but two of the middle names don't match up. Do you have access to the Chicago Daily News? I'd look for an obituary for the William listed above and see if he's a match. Maybe Mary will be listed. William's death cert may give some answers too.
