Subject: Pioneer Quest a year in the real west...1870's beginning Sun June 29, at 8pm on channel 11, wttw chicago there will be a several episode documentary about pioneer farming in the west...1870's.... this occurs in Canada. this is a series about starting from scratch on the land...... beginning first with one couple and then another couple joins them. I have seen the entire series and found it interesting.. there are some things that they did, different than perhaps in illinois, but I think that much of the ideas, the thoughts would be similar... I believe you will think the time well spent....... if you do not get WTTW, please do check with your own local public broadcasting system set your machines for each of the episodes. valentine
