    3. The Aurora Public Library has Mr. Chase's book plus an earlier one done by Michael Fichtel. If you are working on Sacred Heart Cemetery it is best to check both. I lived there and also attended Sacred Heart School and Church as did my father, and my grandparents and ggreat-parents attended Sacred Heart Church as well. When my father entered Sacred Heart School ca. 1915, he spoke only French - no English. Many of my classmates were cousins. The Church still has old records, but I do not know if they are available for research. Wayne Chase did a wonderful compilation of "Records of Sacred Heart Cemetery and Early Interment Records of Sacred Heart Church Aurora, Illinois" which is available in the Wheaton Public Library - may be in other libraries as well. 3. What was Mrs. Wiener's maiden name? My aunt and dad both attended Sacred Heart Church Catholic school with Father Simard (not sure of the spelling) My dad was born 1916 and my aunt 1913. Lola Fermazin Robert Fermazin They lived on State Street. My dad spoke French and German. Would Sacred Heart have any of the old baptism records or did the church burn down a few years ago and all the records destroyed? I think I was baptised at Sacred Heart and also my sister. -----Original Message----- From: Pirone, Mary Ann [mailto:mapiro@aurora.lib.il.us] Sent: Saturday, June 28, 2003 12:46 PM To: ILKANE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: RE: [ILKANE] Aurora has a French section The Aurora Public Library has Mr. Chase's book plus an earlier one done by Michael Fichtel.
