Debs, I would love to see what you find out about Gladys! For me, it's the stories that keep me pressing on with genealogy. We have a g-aunt born in 1877, married in December of 1893. I didn't know she had a daugther until I met some cousins electronically -- and they were sure that her daugther was born in 1896. Within a week I was very sure she was born a bit earlier -- January of 1894, to be exact. Now we all know why great-great-Grandpa wouldn't allow anyone to speak of her...and we are still looking for her daugther's descendents. Poor Gladys! Jean
