Thanks for the responses on this. I'm still new at the genealogy thing and tend to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off not knowing where I should start my search. My Aunts names were CARLIE ANN EDWARDS, and KATHERINE LUELLA EDWARDS. Neither one ever married, so no need to look for any other surnames connected to them. My Mom knows one taught in the Austin neighborhood in Chicago. On their death cert. it states they were retired school teachers, and under the name of employer it says Chicago School System. I think one was like a special-ed teacher because my Mom remembers when she had troubles with something one ( I think Carlie) would tutor her. Her sister teased her and called her a retard...having to go to the "retard class"...( no offence people, just quoting my mom ) debs
