I discovered that my Grandfather was a major piece of ferreting out a murder. He was a postal carrier in Newark Ohio in 1947 when he noticed something unusual about a letter shown him by woman on his route. It had a hand-lettered postmark from Philadelphia, spelled incorrectly. She had created it to demonstrate that her husband had gone to visit Phil. and his "cousin" wrote to say that her husband had died there. In actuality, she had killed him.
