I was in high school with Clifford Kroning and his twin sisters Arlene and Marlene. I'm sure they lived on one of the many farms that ringed the Wheaton area. One of my many jobs during those years was at the Wheaton post office. I delivered the rural mail route one Christmas and for two weeks the following summer. 61 miles, no automatic shifted and as I remember the heater didn't work real well--and of course no air conditioning in the summer!
