Hi There, My GIBBS family were all from New England and eastern New York. I have just found out that my Elizabeth Johnson was born in Staten Island, NY in 1809. I believe that her husband John was born in Ireland, but I am not sure. I would love to find out something about their life in Illinois and any other children.
